The West Karbi Anglong district was created by upgrading the Hamren Sub-Division of Karbi Anglong district in the year 2016. It comes under the 6th Schedule of the Constitution and development works are being looked after by the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
This website will provide an opportunity for people living in the far flung areas to interact with the District Administration. It will also provide basic information about the History, Geography and Socio-Economic condition of the district.
